Lindsay Gravette
Lindsay Gravette is the Founder and Creative Director of elbow, a name he’s worked under for decades and is far easier to spell than Lindsey Linsy Lyndzee...  Over his 20+ year career, he has created brand systems for start-ups, global corporations, and cultural institutions including the Game Developers Conference, eBay, and the New York Philharmonic. He and his wife live in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood with their 3.5 cats. He is a typography nerd, creates electroacoustic music, and is usually cold since he grew up in the desert.

Azi Rad
Azi Rad is not just our Creative Director, she is also the heart of our studio. A graduate of RISD, she is a multi-disciplinary designer working with start-ups, global corporations, and cultural institutions like Chronicle Books, Apple, and Anthony Meier Fine Arts. Some of her books are classics sitting on your shelves right now. Azi and her family live in Oakland or Piedmont — depending on which part of the house you stand in. Azi is a deep thinker, talented illustrator, and we’re convinced she has created colors that have never existed before.
